Education for your Children in the Lake of the Ozarks Area

Every time I visit with a family interested in buying a home in the Lake of the Ozarks area, one of the first things they want to discuss is the school system.   The education of their children is very important and I never miss an opportunity to talk (or brag) about our school systems.  I KNOW we have some of the finest schools that any community could offer.

  • The Camdenton R-III School District has a proud and long-standing tradition of excellence in the state of Missouri and has received numerous local, state, and national awards of distinction for the achievements of the community, students, and teachers.  
  • The Camdenton R-III School District has a student population of over 4,200 students with nine school facilities on three campuses employing over three hundred teachers and over six hundred employees. 
  • They offer an award winning elementary school as well as the highly recognized high school.  
  • Laker Pride can be found throughout the community and a continued commitment to excellence displayed by the numerous stakeholders that create the Camdenton R-III School District.
  • School of the Osage is a progressive and growing school system, drawing its name from the nearby Osage River and the Indians who once lived in the area. 
  • The district enrollment of approximately 1900 includes a K-2 elementary school, an upper elementary (3-5), a middle school (6-8) and high school. 
  • The schools and students of School of the Osage have received numerous awards in athletic, academic, and music competitions. 
  • School of the Osage has also been awarded the Accredited School with Distinction in Performance award.

Ozarks Amphitheater GRAND OPENING

Big things are happening at the Lake of the Ozarks! This Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 PM marks the grand opening for one of the Lake Area's hottest new attractions: the Ozarks Amphitheater ! Ozarks Amphitheater Grand Opening - Thursday, June 18th In order to celebrate their grand opening, the Ozarks Amphitheater will host a fantastic concert with FREE ADMISSION to anyone who wants to come! The award-winning blues vocalist Sena Ehrhardt will be delivering the grand performance, and local musician Shawn C will serve as the opening act. To top it all off, Ozark Distillery will be offering free tastings! Lake TV Sports Director / TV Personality William Holtz will host the event.
