2013 Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop is Fun for All!!

It is almost time for thousands of rubber ducks to make their way down the Bagnell Dam River for the 5th Annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop.  The event will be held on August 3rd at the Historic Bagnell Dam.  

This year there will also be a Duck Drop Golf Tournament on August 2 at The Cove Golf Course.  Registration will be at 7am and a shotgun start at 8:30 am.  The tourney is  4-person scramble with an entry fee of $125 per person.  This fee also includes 10 duck drop tickets that will qualify you for the $5000 race, breakfast at the Cove, Goody Bag and free admission to the awards party at Lazy Gators!!

 On August 3rd, the day will begin with a 5K Run and Waddle Walk. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. Registration is $25 and children under 12 are free. Each entry will receive an event T-shirt.

 The Fun Zone will open at 10 a.m. just below the Bagnell Dam - you will find games and prizes, bounce houses, face painting live music, great food and more!!  Enjoy the morning and stick around for the Duck Drop that begins at noon. If you do not have your ticket yet, you will have an opportunity to purchase one the day of the event for $5 but all sales will end at 11 a.m.

Big things are happening at the Lake of the Ozarks! This Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 PM marks the grand opening for one of the Lake Area's hottest new attractions: the Ozarks Amphitheater !
