20 Random Acts of Kindness that are Almost Free

Image
Christmas always tugs at the Heart Strings and creates a sense of doing good and helping others.  Some are able to pull out the checkbook and make a whopping donation and make a HUGE difference in peoples lives.  Others may find that the checkbook is close to hitting a red-line and feel there is nothing they can do to help.   We believe that no act of kindness, no matter how small, is EVER wasted!!  Random Acts of Kindness can be simple inexpensive gestures that are passed along to others.   We did some research and compiled this list of 20 Random Acts of Kindness that we hope you will use to spread Christmas Cheer! Leave a thank you note and treats in the mailbox for the mail carrier.  Make or buy cards and deliver to nursing home residents. Donate un-wanted or un-needed clothes and toys to a shelter. Schedule a time with the local animal shelter to come play with the dogs/cats/animals. Ring a bell for Salvation Army. Send a Thank you note t...

Water your real tree daily to prevent it from becoming dry. Keep your tree away from your source of heat (furnace, fire place, space heaters etc) to avoid evaporation of the daily water. General Christmas Tree Tips Put your tree close to an outlet to...
