Tips for Evaluating and Choosing a Lake of the Ozarks Realtor

When you make the decision to sell your Lake of the Ozarks Home or buy one, your next step will probably be to choose a Realtor to help you with the process.  There are many Lake of the Ozarks Realtors to choose from...so how do you know which one is right for the job?

 Here are a few questions you should consider asking when evaluating a Realtor:
  1. Are you a licensed REALTOR®?
  2. Does the agent have an active real estate license in good standing? You can check with your state’s governing agency.
  3. Does the agent belong to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and/or a reliable online home buyer’s search service? 
  4. Is real estate their full-time career?
  5. What real estate designations does the agent hold?
  6. Which party is he or she representing--you or the seller? This discussion is supposed to occur early on, at "first serious contact" with you. The agent should discuss your state's particular definitions of agency, so you'll know where you stand.
  7. In exchange for your commitment, how will the agent help you accomplish your goals? Show you homes that meet your requirements and provide you with a list of the properties he or she is showing you?

Big things are happening at the Lake of the Ozarks! This Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 PM marks the grand opening for one of the Lake Area's hottest new attractions: the Ozarks Amphitheater ! Ozarks Amphitheater Grand Opening - Thursday, June 18th In order to celebrate their grand opening, the Ozarks Amphitheater will host a fantastic concert with FREE ADMISSION to anyone who wants to come!
