We can feel the excitement in the air!!  Everyone has been talking about it and anticipating the return of the 2013 Lake Race and this event is finally here!!  With the support of our community and hard work of many people,  the Powerboat racing will return the Lake of the Ozarks June 6th-9th!!  The "hub" of all the excitement will take place at the 0mm and Beavers at the Dam Bar & Grill will be the host and location for the race docks.  The event will feature many different types of races, vendor villages and all the excitement of the Bagnell Dam Strip!  There will also be many different locations that will provide a great venue and view for the upcoming race.   Here is the schedule of the events. Dan became a REALTOR® after selling his restaurant in suburban Kansas City back in 2003.  After doing commercial Site Inspections and some commercial brokerage, he decided to pick up and move his family down to the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.  Since joining the Bagnell Dam Association of REALTORS® (BDAR), he has been an active member or chair of the Public Relations, Scholarship, and Members Committees.  Currently, he is serving as Local Director on the BDAR and will serve as Treasurer/ Secretary in 2012.  At the State level, Dan is participating in the Mar Leadership Academy. The Lake of the Ozarks Spring Harbor Hop is coming up on May 4th, 2013!!  We have had some crazy spring weather, but this event is a top indicator that the boating season has officially arrived!! The Harbor Hop is an event in which participants “hop” from different participating waterfront restaurants and marinas to draw playing cards and hopefully build a winning poker hand.  The poker hands make you eligible to win a variety of valuable prizes.
