DON'T Plant Non-Native Plants A beautiful landscape is not complete without some beautiful plants. Err on the side of caution and low-maintenance by planting perennials native to the region. Buyers may be turned off by the idea of having to put a lot of work into maintaining the lawn. And while they may be pretty to look at, non-native plants will be just that: high maintenance.
