Big things are happening at the Lake of the Ozarks! This Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 PM marks the grand opening for one of the Lake Area's hottest new attractions: the Ozarks Amphitheater ! Ozarks Amphitheater Grand Opening - Thursday, June 18th In order to celebrate their grand opening, the Ozarks Amphitheater will host a fantastic concert with FREE ADMISSION to anyone who wants to come! The award-winning blues vocalist Sena Ehrhardt will be delivering the grand performance, and local musician Shawn C will serve as the opening act. Kick of the 2014 Season with the Lake of the Ozarks St Patrick's Day Parade

For many, the St Patrick's Day parade marks the beginning of the Lake of the Ozarks "season" each year...that is why this parade is such a HUGE event at the Lake!  This year the parade will take place on March 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip. The parade will have just a little bit of everything... cars, motorcycles, boats, charity/civic floats and many local area businesses tossing beads and candy to the kiddos that line the streets.  It's a fun day to bring the entire family out to enjoy the parade as well as some of the businesses along the Bagnell Dam Strip.  Be sure to bring a lawn chair and get your green on for the parade!! For those that cannot be at the parade, please be aware that the road will be shut down at 12:45 and will re-open around 3pm.   Access to HH/Horseshoe Bend will be available by using the new Hwy 242.
