14 Fun Snow Day Activities for Kids!

Old man winter really did a number on us this weekend and that means a snow day for the kiddos!!  It's nice to have a day to sleep in but what do you do when the kids say "I'm bored??"  It's time to get creative and make the most of this opportunity... so here are some fun ways to keep a happy your kids entertained. Go sledding   Make cookies or other easy recipes  Build a snow man Make snow angels Build a fort in the living room Fill spray bottles or squeeze top bottles with colored water (kool-aid or gatorade) and create designs in the snow Build a snow fort (similar to sand castles but with snow!) Look for animal tracks or make your own using cars, spoons or shoes.   Press cookie cutters into the snow to make shapes, or use letter cookie cutters to write a message.  This works best in packed snow.  Catch snowflakes on black paper or black felt and examine them with a magnifying glass (quickly examine them).
